Florìda is a cultural space located in the old Jewish Ghetto in Genoa’s historic center. It is an experimental project that aims to promote social and urban development through the tools of art, co-creation, and international artistic mobility. The goal is to enhance new lifestyles and enjoyment of the territory by counteracting the tendency of its inhabitants to abandon the historic center, with a particular focus on young people. The association hosts artists in residence, organizes exhibitions, and facilitates artistic collaborations to strengthen the local social and creative network, believing that artistic practice is an opportunity for contamination and enrichment for all parties involved. Since 2023, Florìda has hosted ten artists in residence, realized three international exhibitions, three artistic residencies for Academy students, and five ‘Small Talks’, a free and open dinner formula animated by a dialogue on artistic practices and contemporary cities. The association has also collaborated with several organizations and cultural institutions operating in the historic center of Genoa.

The Museum of Loss and Renewal is an art project that offers space and contexts for making and sharing, by taking time. Rather than being a museum in the traditional sense that accumulates ‘stuff’, The Museum of Loss and Renewal stimulates people to take time in which to generate thoughts, feelings and ideas. The Museum of Loss and Renewal is a growing collection of experiences that are regularly shared through the activities of its curators, partners and residents, and is a vehicle that enables the consideration of how to lead a more balanced life. Palmas is an artist-run space that reflects and acts over contemporary practices in the field of visual arts. Understood as a space for artistic experimentation with a special focus on emerging artists, the idiosyncrasy of the project is reflected by the pink colour of the walls, which serves simultaneously as an initial challenge to the artists as well as a homogeneous identity that helps to present a singular exhibition programme in the national and international context. Established in 2017 in Lisbon (Portugal), at a time when there was a lack of independent spaces in the city’s art scene, the project had immediately an impressive local and national acceptance. By playing an active role in engaging with the local artistic community, a vibrant, heterogeneous and assiduous audience emerged, which helped to characterise the space as a special and important place in the city’s cultural landscape. As of 2024, Las Palmas main objective is to establish itself as a dynamic cultural space in the city of Berlin.
