PROSPECT ART is a forward-thinking, Los Angeles-based artist-run not-for-profit 501c3 organization that fosters artists’ careers by providing exposure through open dialogues, critical writing, project grants, and exhibitions. The organization was conceived during the 2020 pandemic. Prospect Art is looking towards a world of representation and equality by creating new opportunities for local, national, and international artists. The organization is structured as an agile, responsive entity to serve artists, the local Los Angeles community, and beyond, by supporting existing and new works to be presented to the public. We’re interested in breaking down silos and sharing information and knowledge to further the careers of artists and forge new alliances with the community.

  Pigeons exist all over the world yet they are often overlooked. Like artists and writers, they are beautiful, iridescent, quirky, and resourceful. Some birds find more fame than others, but we see the pigeons in all their glory. ​Of course, pigeons might not be as majestic or smart as their feathered friends, and they fly headfirst into a window. But how else can we find the barriers in our own world except by running into them headfirst, over and over again, waiting for them to break? Pigeon Review was started by an artist and a writer looking to make a home for artists and their art. From a cluttered room or a cup of coffee to an inquisitive face, we like art that tells a story.

PigPrints is printmaking studio with facilities in Milan, Italy. Founded by artist and printmaker Guido Pigni, PigPrints specializes in intaglio techniques, and focuses on creating and promoting works achieved through printmaking by emerging and established contemporary artists. The prints are made by the artists working independently or in close collaboration with the studio staff and are hand-printed on our etching presses. In addition to collaborations with artists, PigPrints offers contract printing services. PigPrints’ founder Guido Pigni, who is also a painter and a multidisciplinary artist, has extensive experience in the field of printmaking. PigPrints operates on different levels: it’s a collaborative print workshop where artists can work independently on their personal projects, profiting from the quality professional equipment as well as the tranquility and inspiring atmosphere of the place.   it’s a place where invited artists can work alongside the studio staff and benefit of their assistance to create shared projects. Commenced in 2019, Read the Room is an expanded literary practice space that encourages experimental writing, both on and off the page. Co-directed by Melbourne based visual artist Carmen-S Keiso and writer Kat Capel, Read the Room functions as a liaising hub for various practitioners interested in pursuing the literary form, particularly those working on the fringe of the artistic industry. We host ongoing writing workshops, experimental lectures, exhibitions and reading events independently and in collaboration with other artist-bodies. We are dedicated to both challenging and fostering a community of expanded-literary-practice within Melbourne. Field Projects is an artist-run project space and online venue dedicated to emerging and mid-career artists. Centered on long-term curatorial projects, Field Projects presents monthly exhibitions at their Chelsea location in addition to participating in pop-up exhibitions in and around New York as well art fairs around the world. The gallery invites artists to submit their work for consideration twice a year through an open call submission process. We discover about 80% of the artist we show through our open call submission process. We also have a artist residency, and publish self-identified ethnic and gender charts of artist we have shown and worked with.

PROGRAMMING ATHICA: Athens Institute for Contemporary Art is an independent, non-profit gallery promoting and supporting innovative contemporary art and artists through exhibitions, education, and events. ATHICA is committed to the local art community and to bringing in national and international contemporary artists of all media. The programming features rotating exhibitions of various themes and affiliated events (such as performances, music, panel discussions, screenings, lectures, workshops, children’s events, tours, and more). Over the past decade, ATHICA has presented over 1200 regional, national, and international artists in over 60 exhibitions and hundreds of affiliated events. THIRD SHIFT is an annual festival of public contemporary artworks that takes place in Saint John, New Brunswick and online. THIRD SHIFT 2021 will take place from August 19 – 22, 2021. Established in 2015, THIRD SHIFT holds space for new experiences and communal exchange through the exhibition of temporary public artworks in Saint John and online. In 2020, THIRD SHIFT expanded to include digital art including animations, short films, interactive online experiences, live coding, virtual performances, and more. Climanosco was launched in 2015 with the vision that we can all play a part in addressing the climate challenge – and that a first step towards doing so is to make the best knowledge about climate science accessible to everyone. The first lockdown has driven us to a fighting spirit. Now, the second one feels more like a great melancholy. We would like to see art and culture as the very elixir of life in society. It should not occur only in Sunday speeches, not only in good times, but also, and especially in difficult times and times of crisis. Culture is a fuel for social development. But with the lockdown, an entire industry is muted without any ado. We strongly believe that we need culture to bring color and emotional warmth to our everyday life. The Bomb Factory Art Foundation was founded on the premise that art, artists and creative culture offer significant value in our society. Our mission is to support artists, cultural organisations and educational institutions to engage people of all ages and backgrounds in the viewing and creation of art. The Bomb Factory enables contemporary visual arts practice to thrive through the provision of affordable studio and exhibition space as well as a supportive network of artists where peer collaboration and critique is encouraged. ​All resident artists support the organisation by contributing their skills and time to the public programme. Their engagement with learning and participation enables The Bomb Factory Art Foundation to demonstrate the social value of art. World of Co Artist Residency is a project, inspired by the vivid contemporary art scene and the cultural treasures around us. After years of living abroad and taking part in different art organizations and residencies, in 2017 the WOC crew decided to bring their experience and knowledge to Bulgaria – by creating an international artist residency in Sofia. The mission of World of Co Artist Residency is to create a platform for exploration and experiments for international and Bulgarian artists, to bring awareness about Bulgaria, its’ art and culture, and to contribute to the local contemporary art scene and community. World of Co Artist Residency offers a friendly, supportive and stimulating atmosphere to international and Bulgarian artists, curators, researchers and art managers. The residency enables to develop ongoing research, to work on art projects and discover the city and the artistic scene of Bulgaria. Eye’s Walk Digital Festival is an innovative festival that combines digital technology, video installation, performing art and experiential design with the unique cultural and architectural background of a city.

The mission of the FCA is to advance the knowledge and appreciation of art and culture to all Canadians, offering education, exhibition, and communication in the Visual Arts, and to support and promote emerging to professional member artists.

The Union is a newly created Oslo-based organization (2020), an artist-run mediation platform consisting of Slovakian Martinka Bobrikova, Peruvian-Palestinian Rodrigo Ghattas-Pérez, and Spanish Oscar de Carmen. One of the core missions of The Union is to explore new socio-political realities through digital and physical activism and creative-citizen movements: the impact of Covid-19 – for artists, activists, thinkers, and creative minds – and its aftermath, being one of the most urgent ones. The Union´s laid-back projects target power structures in institutions, triggering loosen-up critical reflections through the use of unconventional, domestic, and experiential practices. We work to create other valorization structures for art, life, and culture, and to reshape the publics’ interaction; to actively participate in the collective design of new forms of care, participation, and empowerment through the arts.
