Studio Residencies at Con Artist Collective The residencies at Con Artist Collective are short-term curated 60-day studio stays culminating in a special week-long showcase gallery exhibition. They are either seasonal, or based upon a particular medium. Our jurors are often NYC creatives, art luminaries, past members, and friends and family of the collective that are up to exciting things in their respective fields. You’ll sit down with each juror from the cycle for exclusive feedback socials. Therefore we are flexible at dates. All media artists are encouraged to send a proposal related to one of the following subjects: the nature / Tatra National Park/ highlanders’ architecture social issus or any other topic related to the region As we are a non-profit project based on availability of volunteers. We ask you to contribute to the residency with an amount of 200 €, which shall cover expenses of monthly stay in the house (water, electricity, internet). We do not currently have fellowships, but if accepted, we can provide documentation to apply for outside funding. Artist Residency in Sydney July 2018
Artist Residency July 2018 We are looking to set up an artist residency in 2018 for the month of July closing with an optional four day exhibition over one weekend. The residency will include accommodation and studio together in the one space as seen in the images. The studio is 72 sqm with a bathroom and kitchenette. There will be a charge for the residency of approx $AUD2,200 includes all utilities, and exhibition costs. Idris is happy to invite you to the opening event for the exhibit KEDEM–KODEM–KADIMA at 20:00 on March 29 at 8:00. This exhibit will last one month and is taking place in four locations: Idris,The Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv, Born from Rock and The Lobby Art Space. Three works will be included in Idris for this exhibit by the Israeli Illit Azoulay, Cuban Wilfredo Prieto and Romanian artist Alex Mirutziu.

Tina Griffith, János Brückner, Nicole Marc, Constanza Rossi, Marlene Bart, Marisa Benjamin snd Gözde Güngör worked on the theme of removed monuments that can be found all over memory landscapes and cultural geographies. Often the desire is voiced to mark these changes, to comment on them or to make them visible, or with a sort of copy paste, to reverse the removal. The artists explore what extended and possibly entirely different possibilities might exist, to react to the empty pedestals, beyond the desire, to imagine wholeness where it has been disrupted. How can these other, new, expanded and possibly less monumental ideas me communicated? […]
