Pocketed right in the heart of the village Baadii Khas, Baadii is a confluence for arts for the three village panchayats in cluster of Kandbari, near Baijnath in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The space is a melting pot for artists, artisans, craftspersons, and all residents from the area. A community driven initiative, the space is a platform for arts engagement, exhibition and discussion in the village. Dedicated to maximizing the intrinsic value of the arts in all media, and its impact on communities, Baadii is centered on bringing arts based experiences and interventions, as bridges for cohesion of cultures and people.

Picasso Pupils is an art society with the branch in India and in Slovakia whose main mission is to provide a platform for cultural exchange. The main aim is to use art as a language between diverse cultures. Studio Next is an upcoming Artist-run art space in North Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, Surrounded by the Ganges River, the East Kolkata Wetlands, the countryside, nearby colonial remains of Dum Dum and Barrackpore Cantonment , the Kolkata Airport, Old Kolkata and the New Town. Kolkata is known as the cultural capital of India. Studio Next is a non-profit art organization founded by artists and connoisseurs to promote alternative contemporary art practice and a platform of alternative art education and cross cultural understanding. It is an artist run organization with Studio, exhibition space, projection room, local artisan accesses that supports the open exchange of ideas. This multi-dimensional cultural space is a newest addition to the location it is situated. We believe that when peoples from different parts of the world works together, they gain insights that bridge cultural divides and the sharing of ideas, skills and experiences inspires actions and enables collaboration for good. FARM STUDIO ( International Artist Residency – India) FARM Studio International Artist Residency’s aim is to provide a rural, community-based open platform where creativity can unfold. Residents stay and create in a unique atmosphere and entirely new environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Relationships form between the artists coming from different geographical locations and varied social, religious and cultural backgrounds. Here, collaborations and experimentation is encouraged. Many exciting exchanges and dialogues among artists take place. Farm Studio also promotes and celebrates the local community’s artistic and cultural identity while also introducing art and culture of others (Indian and International guests) back to the community. This intercultural exchange broadens everyone’s experiences and fosters art appreciation. Farm Studio International Artist Residency hosts artists from September to March each year, with accommodations available for up to 6-12 residents at one time. Artists of all disciplines creating in any media are welcome to apply: dance, theatre, music, sound, performance art, writing, painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, culinary, photography, video/film, animation, architecture, sculpture (any material), ceramics, mixed-media / multi-media, interdisciplinary, installation, and other new/alternative media. Researchers, curators, and art critics are also welcome to apply. Open to emerging and established artists.
