On the 16th and 17th of September espai sant Marc will present the bulgarian artist Neno Belchev’s video La Fauna Mallorquina. “It is a 5 minutes video about the “fauna” of Mallorca Island. The video is dedicated to the relationship between man and the animal (a faraway distant reminder for a kind of shaman ritual practice). It was done in my striving to understand better the surrounding us world, ourselves and the connection between the world and the humans. In the video, I putted myself on the place of those animals, which are losing their natural habitats. The voices are “borrowed” from documentary films about nature. The video was shot during the “Espai Sant Marc” program, Mallorca, Balearic Islands.”
