A Global Art Project (GAP) Exhibition that includes works from the GAP International FRAG Exchange Project. Featuring art created by GAP member artists in collaborative exercises consisting of fragments, debris, collage-assemblage materials and refuse collected from the global membership as well as things just lying around. Original art is made from these fragments and this show includes some of those pieces. Curated for the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design by Nirmal Raja from selections by GAP members curated by GAP leader, Carl Heyward. Featuring work from the Collaborative GAP Frag  Exchange  Project : frags: the fragments, the raw materials that might become elements of mixed-media collages or paintings…torn found papers, billboard-tears, fabric, found shopping lists, photos and negatives, discarded canvas and throw-away’s that are given new life by another artist who incorporates these raw materials into something new…
