Space swap is the Artist-Run Alliance way to promote artists and initiatives working within the Artist-run field to have an international carrier!

As artist-run initiatives our biggest asset, apart from our genius, is our project spaces and our networking background. By Space Swapping we can promote an ongoing global carrier for our artists, alongside diversing our local cultural art discourse in our native local communities.

The Space Swap project is open to all: Project spaces, nomadic groups, pop ups etc.

Using the ‘couch surfing’ culture praxis we can realize a low cost highly effective global exchange of exhibitions and projects.

In order to participate either:
1. Send us your contact information using the form and we will get back to you ASAP with a request for relevant content.

We also call all Artist-run teams who participated in a space swap in the past to send us texts and photos to post on our new blog dedicated to space swap, and share their experience with the wide ARA community.
