DOMIE is 400 square meters intended for artistic experiments. It features studio and exhibition, music and performance space, gathering and accommodation. The building undergoes continuous transformation, becoming an artistic medium in itself and provoking site-specific activities. DOMIE welcomes everyone and anyone who believes in the idea of openness, is able to embrace frictions and work in intersections. DOMIE is a place requiring care, a difficult, ghastly place, which responds to the sense of uprooting, chronic nomadism, housing crisis and poverty among artists. Domesticity and ownership have ended. It is time of post-dwelling, zombie-communities, unstable domiciles. The project was initiated by Martyna Miller and Katarzyna Wojtczak, who are developing it with DOMIE community. DOMIE is also an experiment in itself. It focuses on a 10-year plan of reclaiming a building in the center of Poznań/Poland, which due to long-term neglect has been falling into disrepair since 1988. OPENART is a contemporary public art biennial taking place for three summer months in Örebro, Sweden. The city center is temporarily transformed into a huge outdoor art arena creating unconventional encounters between the art and the audience. Participating artists are working outside the traditional frames with an opportunity to work big, outdoors and temporary. The exhibition invites a broad and curious audience to experience the art without an admission fee and regardless if they are acquainted with art or not.  

The International Biennale of Performance, Collaborative and Participatory Arts means to shift: to be movable, exchange, modify, transfer… the crux includes the shifting of minds, theories and practices. Grappling with the unconventional and new ways of working. Not being afraid of experimentation and pushing past any stagnant boundaries. Performance art is new within the canonical context of art history. Therefore, [SHIFT: ibpcpa] provide a platform for artists to interpret and present work, for an international biennale based on ‘junction-making’ and ‘networked’ performances which enable an exclusive focus on performance practices including collaborative and/or participatory elements between artists and other non-art disciplines.

  Sonra Sanat Collective is a not-for-profit community created by students and art producers studying in the field of visual arts and music in Kocaeli. The purpose of the collective, which was established in Kocaeli in 2016, is to ensure the continuity of interdisciplinary art production that takes place collectively in the studio named Kara Sanat, and to contribute to the city vision in the field of visual arts by creating a memory in this field by opening this production to the audience through various activities such as exhibitions, seminars and performances. In Kocaeli, Sonra Sanat Collective, tries to create a modest alternative to both the university-based academic environment and Istanbul-centered art field that is under the influence of the same artistic approaches/Institutions, and also undertakes the mission of an independent art space in Kocaeli. Within this mission, the Collective aims to create international encounters in the field of art and to keep track of these motto’s by organizing seminar series/exhibitions/meetings that tries to bring together different disciplines, especially within the students.  

  Since 2000 FILE is a non-profit cultural organization that has been promoting exhibitions, workshops and gatherings that seek to investigate the appropriations of the technologic media in artistic accomplishments. With annual exhibitions in São, in addition to participation in national and international events, FILE is the biggest electronic art event in Latin America. For 2020, artists and researchers can submit their works in the main categories: Interactive Art, Digital Language, Electronic Sonority, Workshops, Symposium and Led Show.  

  Kingsbrae International Residence for the Arts & Amphitheatre (KIRA) was established in 2016 in an effort to support the creativity of artists. We hope to promote excellence in the arts both here in Canada as well as in the International scene, all the while benefiting the local community of St. Andrews, New Brunswick, by becoming a cultural destination. A residency at KIRA creates a rewarding and stimulating experience for any participant seeking to advance their artistic journey.  

  Charlotte New Music is an organization promoting Charlotte’s growing reputation as a creative center for contemporary music and arts since 2012. CNM presents year round educational experiences, compelling performances, and innovative collaborations across many genres and artistic disciplines.

  L’AiR Arts is a grass-roots non profit association with a mission of supporting intercultural and artistic exchange through providing international artist residency opportunities. Our programs bring together artists, researchers, arts professionals and arts supporters of different nationalities and backgrounds with the aim to foster creativity and artistic practice, while promoting inclusion, diversity and international understanding through arts and cultural heritage.  

  tactileBOSCH is an itinerant artist led collective championing experimentation and specializing in performance art, multi-media, and site-specific installation. Through its exciting programme of exhibitions and events, tactileBOSCH seek out and adapt to new spaces and contexts, granting permission to artists to experiment with their work in a way entirely impossible in a traditional or gallery setting, offering interesting, transformative and unusual spaces that audiences can explore, and become immersed in creating a complex dialogue between artist, curator, gallery, location and audience.  

  E T A J is an artist-run space, a catalyst that focuses on the efficiency of the contemporary artistic object within the local context. Some artists have grouped themselves into the idea of conceiving a cultural cell. Through their journey, but also in their connection there is no conventional model. Whether it is a group exhibition, a solo one or other events originated here, the principles of the artistic practice and a sense of authenticity are those guiding the initial collective actions at E T A J.  

  The F Project is an ARI based in Warrnambool, Australia. Established in 2008, The F Project aims to encourage and support artists and contemporary arts practice, and creatively explore social issues and engagement with the community. The F Project space hosts a gallery, shop, workshop spaces, studios and a residency. It is run entirely by volunteers. Acting as a lobby voice for the provision of facilities and programs where artists can produce and exhibit work, where artists and the community can work together, and where a range of information and support services are available to artists and the community, The F Project is a positive force in shaping the cultural and creative life in the Victorian Arts community.  

  Im_flieger is a project by artists for artists: a research facility and developmental lab. Im_flieger operates as an independent association and is located in Vienna. Im_flieger creates since the year 2000 a free public space for dance, performance and related art forms, enabling contemporary artistic publication, discourse, research, creation, artists mobility, exchange and the growing necessity of fostering links between artists, cultural actors and creative spaces through local, national and international networking. Dance/Performance is seen in a wider scope, encompassing the broader sense of the term, which focuses on the whole process of artistic creation as a potential and medium of communication. Im_flieger supports artists actively in developing new working concepts and structures of artistic cooperation, moreover, the creation and presentation of performance art is facilitated without the pressure of common event and production practice. Im_flieger is an emancipatory model that requires awareness about the links of aesthetic, political and social perspectives, as well as an understanding about the field of tension they create in the artistic production.  

  Arts Letters & Numbers (ALN) is a non-profit arts and education organization dedicated to fostering creative exchanges across a broad range of disciplines including architecture, visual arts, theatre arts, film, music, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Operating globally, regionally and locally, ALN seeks to bring together artists of diverse backgrounds, practices and ages. It conducts programs in educational and cultural institutions worldwide, collaborating with universities, high schools, museums, theatre companies, and community organizations. In addition, the organization runs an ongoing interdisciplinary artist-in-residence program, as well as educational workshops, sessions, exhibitions and events, taking place year-round at ‘The Mill’ located in Upstate, NY.  

  Artopus collective is a group of 13 interdisciplinary artists based in Tel Aviv, Israel. We share a studio space, produce exhibitions, workshops, lectures and cultural events within that space. Artopus aims to invite the public to explore their own creativity and get to know the local artists working in their midst.  

  This Delray Beach CRA rehabilitated warehouse located on Artist Alley in the Pineapple Grove district is an Arts Incubator space for artist residencies, arts education, community-based arts projects, as well as exhibitions, events and talks focused on Contemporary Art. The Arts Warehouse provides developmental programs & assistance to visual artists locally, nationally and internationally. Resident & Affiliate Artist have 24 hour facility access.  

  Berlinskej Model is a non-profit gallery based in art district Holešovice, Prague, Czech Republic. Berlinskej Model has been founded in 2011 and it’s known as a meeting point for the current art scene, crossing borders of the local district, genres and generations. The gallery is also organizing workshops, talks, discussion panels, concerts and regularly issuing art magazine RAJON. Berlinskej Model mainly focuses on contemporary art overlapping in political and social involved activism. Berlinskej Model runs exhibitions once per week, presenting every new artist on Wednesdays only. The show is on just for one night only, so it’s an opening and a closing ceremony in one, including a meal cooked by the exhibiting artist.  

  U10 Art Space is an independent artist-run space dedicated to supporting contemporary art founded in 2012 in Belgrade. It was founded with the purpose to be a platform where young local artists would be shown. By collaborating with similar spaces and initiatives, U10 Art Space actively works on creating a culture of artistic education, debate and exchange between artists, curators, art theoreticians, writers and the wider public. The main focus of the program is to create solo and group shows presenting mainly young artists from Serbia. A few slots per year are dedicated to international projects whose concept is aimed at creating active exchange and collaborating with local artists; followed by presenting mid-career artists. An integral part of the program includes events such as: exhibition guidings by artists and curators, performances, sound and music performances, discussions and panels as well as parallel events outside of the space itself and abroad. U10 Art Space is run by seven artists and an art historian: Lidija Delić, Nina Ivanović, Sava Knežević, Isidora Krstić, Iva Kuzmanović, Nemanja Nikolić, Marija Šević and Sanda Kalebić

  Selected by Artslant Magazine as one of Berlin’s most interesting non-profit art spaces, SomoS finds meaning in a pragmatic innovative hybrid of art-presentation, production, education and reflection that engages with, and celebrates an ever-changing community; living and working together in a multi-generational, multi-cultural setting. Organizing an Artist-in-Residency program and an ambitious exhibition and event schedule, SomoS closely works with artists, organizers and curators to realize their projects. SomoS’ mission is to create an international open framework for innovative arts and creative cooperation.
