READING EDGE is a place dedicated to the rich and complex field of knowledge processed by the labor of choreography, performing arts and performance of today – and a manifestation of reading as a borderline practice moving across legacies and territories.
READING EDGE collects artists’ books and discursive publications, published by individuals and independent art initiatives operating at the margin – printed, digital as well as in otherwise materiality and format. Collected publications provide insight into a multiplicity of bodies, languages and technologies, which, assembled onto this edge, begin to intra-weave and re-contextualize one another. Whereby reading as knowledge turns into a labor of interdependency, by proliferation of difference, always singular, unavoidably borderline.
OPEN CALL
c.off now calls for donations of printed and digital publications to the READING EDGE library. Donated publications will be carefully attended to and included in the reading edge’s database. Most importantly, each donation will be made accessible to visitors, who will be able to encounter and read each publication at c.off’s space, Körsbärsvägen 9 in Stockholm.
READING EDGE runs a non-profit policy. Publications will be made accessible to non-commercial use only, with all rights reserved to each publisher. In the event of public readings, seminars, salons and otherwise discursive interventions based on the library material, publishers involved will be asked for permission, and invited to contribute.
