Mission: Amos Eno Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery providing a full season of exhibits by emerging and mid-career artists working in visual, performance, installation, interactive, and/or digital media/video. Our season is complemented by a diverse series of performances as well as educational and public programs for the New York area. A small community of professional artists runs our nonprofit whose members are vetted through a rigorous reviewing process by their peers. Amos Eno serves as an alternative, artist-run platform for professional artists in a variety of media, giving precedence to artistic expression freed from commercial restraints. By presenting a rich schedule of exhibits and participatory events, we help promote the cultural growth of our community. History: Founded in 1974, Amos Eno Gallery is one of New York City’s longest operating artist-run gallery spaces. As a registered 501(c)3 organization, Amos Eno Gallery offers a diverse calendar of public programming including performance art, film and music, lectures, panels, and workshops throughout the year.   E T A J is an artist-run space, a catalyst that focuses on the efficiency of the contemporary artistic object within the local context. Some artists have grouped themselves into the idea of conceiving a cultural cell. Through their journey, but also in their connection there is no conventional model. Whether it is a group exhibition, a solo one or other events originated here, the principles of the artistic practice and a sense of authenticity are those guiding the initial collective actions at E T A J.  

  Loading is an artist-run space in Diyarbakir, Turkey that aims to enrich contemporary art dialogue in the city and foster links between the region and the international art world. Loading engages with its community by its public programme which consists of artist & curator talks and workshops, as well as its art book library. Previous guest speakers include Gabi Ncgobo (curator, 10th Berlin Biennale), Ippolito Pestellini Laparelli (curator, Manifesta 12), and Hale Tenger (artist). Loading also has an ongoing archival project of archiving contemporary art practices in Diyarbakir. Loading was founded by artists Erkan Özgen, Cengiz Tekin and Şener Özmen. What started out as a project to connect with and mentor younger artists evolved into a platform that breeds new perspectives to the ways not only artists but also locals of other professions situate art making. Loading fosters a strong sense of community and garners contemporary art not just more approachable but also far more intertwined with this community.

  Berlinskej Model is a non-profit gallery based in art district Holešovice, Prague, Czech Republic. Berlinskej Model has been founded in 2011 and it’s known as a meeting point for the current art scene, crossing borders of the local district, genres and generations. The gallery is also organizing workshops, talks, discussion panels, concerts and regularly issuing art magazine RAJON. Berlinskej Model mainly focuses on contemporary art overlapping in political and social involved activism. Berlinskej Model runs exhibitions once per week, presenting every new artist on Wednesdays only. The show is on just for one night only, so it’s an opening and a closing ceremony in one, including a meal cooked by the exhibiting artist.  

The Kulturdrogerie association, located in a former drugstore on Gentzgasse 86-88 in Vienna’s 18th district, Währing, makes studio space, production space, and exhibition and presentation area available to selected, invited artists. The association was founded in 2005 by sculptors Markus Hiesleitner and Franz Tišek. Kulturdrogerie is an experimental art space that functions as an ideational testing ground, and provides artists with support and space that they otherwise would not have at their disposal to realize their projects. The Kulturdrogerie thus views its purpose as a place of production and exhibition for contemporary young art.

Studio Residencies at Con Artist Collective The residencies at Con Artist Collective are short-term curated 60-day studio stays culminating in a special week-long showcase gallery exhibition. They are either seasonal, or based upon a particular medium. Our jurors are often NYC creatives, art luminaries, past members, and friends and family of the collective that are up to exciting things in their respective fields. You’ll sit down with each juror from the cycle for exclusive feedback socials. Artistic Curiosities * Unexpected Wonders Wondercabinet is the project of interdisciplinary relational artists, Anne Weshinskey and Árni Gudmundsson (V4L Arts Collective). We specialize in the instigation and exhibition of artistic curiosities, and creating spaces where unexpected wonders can occur. We pave a pathway to enjoying contemporary art through activities that engage everyone—from locals to those passing by on their way to somewhere else. Anne and Arni began working together 15 years ago while living and working in separate countries (Turkey and Sweden), and in 2016 moved to West Virginia where the type of conceptual and relational (community collaborative) work we do was completely unheard of in this rural area. PigPrints is printmaking studio with facilities in Milan, Italy. Founded by artist and printmaker Guido Pigni, PigPrints specializes in intaglio techniques, and focuses on creating and promoting works achieved through printmaking by emerging and established contemporary artists. The prints are made by the artists working independently or in close collaboration with the studio staff and are hand-printed on our etching presses. In addition to collaborations with artists, PigPrints offers contract printing services. PigPrints’ founder Guido Pigni, who is also a painter and a multidisciplinary artist, has extensive experience in the field of printmaking. PigPrints operates on different levels: it’s a collaborative print workshop where artists can work independently on their personal projects, profiting from the quality professional equipment as well as the tranquility and inspiring atmosphere of the place.   it’s a place where invited artists can work alongside the studio staff and benefit of their assistance to create shared projects. Field Projects is an artist-run project space and online venue dedicated to emerging and mid-career artists. Centered on long-term curatorial projects, Field Projects presents monthly exhibitions at their Chelsea location in addition to participating in pop-up exhibitions in and around New York as well art fairs around the world. The gallery invites artists to submit their work for consideration twice a year through an open call submission process. We discover about 80% of the artist we show through our open call submission process. We also have a artist residency, and publish self-identified ethnic and gender charts of artist we have shown and worked with.

Dimensions Variable (DV) is a nonprofit led by artists committed to the education, presentation, and support of contemporary art in Miami. Through a supportive community, DV provides studios, curates exhibitions, produces external projects, publishes content, hosts discussions, develops education, and organizes events that engage the community and support challenging and experimental art practices.

127 garage is a space for cultural initiatives from artists and for artists.   We, the artist Anton Tkachenko and the curator Nastia Khlestova, opened a space for exhibitions, lectures, shows, meetings, discussions, and, most importantly, experiments in our garage. Our main goal and mission are to create a space comfortable for work and interaction, supporting young artists. We want to make art accessible and popular, therefore, locating in a residential complex, we are open to communication and work with the local community. 127 garage’s work is centered on different formats of knowledge exchange and developing new tools for understanding the condition today for a queerer tomorrow. 127 garage opens up new discursive lines, by involving different actors into challenging spatial narratives. 127 garage strives for a world of horizontal hegemonies, borderlessness, and borderlands, guided by our curiosity and urgency.

Studio Next is an upcoming Artist-run art space in North Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, Surrounded by the Ganges River, the East Kolkata Wetlands, the countryside, nearby colonial remains of Dum Dum and Barrackpore Cantonment , the Kolkata Airport, Old Kolkata and the New Town. Kolkata is known as the cultural capital of India. Studio Next is a non-profit art organization founded by artists and connoisseurs to promote alternative contemporary art practice and a platform of alternative art education and cross cultural understanding. It is an artist run organization with Studio, exhibition space, projection room, local artisan accesses that supports the open exchange of ideas. This multi-dimensional cultural space is a newest addition to the location it is situated. We believe that when peoples from different parts of the world works together, they gain insights that bridge cultural divides and the sharing of ideas, skills and experiences inspires actions and enables collaboration for good. Well Well Projects is an artist-run gallery located in Portland, Oregon. Co-founded and operated by Jeremy Le Grand, Jessie Weitzel Le Grand, Katherine Spinella, and John Whitten. Well Well opened in January 2021 with the intent of giving artists gallery representation. The co-founders bring their experience as artists, partners, and operators of a variety of artist-run spaces to the table in order to enrich this project and their home base in North Portland’s Disjecta Contemporary Art Center. With a member base that is Portland focused, they aim for this project to serve as a launch pad for artists while open-calls and other opportunities seek to reach a wider audience that expands outside the Pacific Northwest region. Art exhibitions serve as an important foundation to the gallery space, and programming seeks to vary the ways in which Well Well Projects interacts with the Portland community and beyond. Alongside regular solo and group exhibitions, Well Well is developing a series of artists workshops and classes, lectures, and a shop selling publications, art objects and editions.

  Yellow Brick is a non-profit artistic workspace that fosters relations among local and international artists, art collectives, curators, writers, thinkers and makers with the Athenian context as predominately accessed and introduced through the area of Nea Ionia.  Initiated by artist Vasiliki Sifostratoudaki in 2016, Yellow Brick has so far hosted 32 artists from 25 countries.  Yellow Brick wishes to participate in the cultural production of the city by focusing on the Athenian periphery and more specifically on Yellow Brick’s locale, a culturally diverse neighborhood established by immigrants from the coast of Asia Minor. Yellow Brick understands local identity as an assemblage of cultures, histories, languages, expressions and forms, and welcomes artists and cultural practitioners to activate and sustain a creative dialogue within Nea Ionia and greater Athens through their current interests, social concerns and artistic practices. Space52 founded by the artist Dionisis Christofilogiannis in 2017 and supports Athens based artists and continuously seeks collaborations with art spaces and professionals from abroad. Our community and network grow by facilitating collaborations, exchanges and research-based project. Space52 serves as a hub for local and international creatives, intellectuals and theoreticians. Main focus of all our engagements is the current inquiries of our growing dynamic community. Space52 is the Athens incubator of ideas and experimentations.  

  ERGO Collective is a creative platform founded on the premise of collaboration. We approach collective creativity as mode of encouraging dialogue and triggering stimulating ideas on the critique and collapse of borders between Art’s disciplines. Our team is formed by permanent and guest artists and other curious people from various places and spaces. Our journey began in a nomadic manner with an emphasis on site specific shows. Today ERGO occupies a physical space in Athens making its first steps as an artist-run-space. Our new space allows the collective to be more spontaneous on realizing projects, ideas and activities. To have a home, means to be a host and therefore ERGO is welcoming creatives from around the world to share and propose ideas on exhibitions, performances, workshops, symposia, screenings or any other intriguing event.
