“CONVULSION LTD.: THIRD DROP ON A HOT PLATE”, the third in an ongoing series of exhibitions curated by KILOBASE BUCHAREST in different venues, is sharing the same main themes of reflection upon the body: Pain, Humor and Self-Exploitation with the previous iterations “Convulsion Ltd. : Christian Paraschiv” and “Convulsion Ltd. : further thoughts from new associates”.
Like a possible antidote to a troubled world, this third drop is ebullient on unfurling some oppositional truths by adopting and queering the fictional company Convulsion Ltd., by thinking of the artworks as headspace to harness in the thick of the action, by asking a little more investment to plunge into multiplicities, overlooked cultural complexities and troubled waters.
