Jonathan Britten

Jonathan Britten currently resides in Bronte country on a beautiful patch of green belt. He has been creative for over 30 years since his teens and has worked experimentally across many media including painting, music creation and production, wood and stone carving, crafting. His practice is less commercially driven and more internally motivated to make sense of the world which has never been stronger than at this time. His work has been described as ‘mystical’, ‘magical’, ‘spiritual’, ‘colourful’, ‘weird (but in a good way)’. Jonathan creates concepts with striking & contrasting colourwork, aiming to create aesthetically energetic artworks with an organic feel, hoping that the viewer find a pleasing resonance within them.

Marigold Hodkinson

Marigold Hodkinson’s site-Specific projects engage with the environment often in movement generated by the ‘Element’s ’ unpredictable effects of wind, water, light and shadow and reflection. ‘Floating installations’ staged in moat, river and lake: ‘Wind’ activated sculpture overlooking the sea: ‘Reflection’ used as a shifting mirror or screen. Marigold is based in London and Warwickshire.

Stuart Mel Wilson

Stuart Mel Wilson explores the relationship we have with myth making through images. The relationship between myths in history and the modern idea’s of myth making. Using history and contemporary thought to give the viewer an unconscious understanding to art and the world. On a personal level I want a solo show in an area I have yet to show in with people I have not yet shown too. An opportunity to progress my practice as an exciting, up and coming artist. The current area I am focusing on curating walking art using art to curate a space for the viewer to immerse themselves in doing this with traditional mark making processes. Turn them into installation and sculptural works. The intention of taking over the space, subtlety. Stuart is currently based in Newcastle.
